ACCESS & INCLUSION STATEMENT
Access and inclusion at BridgeHaus
We want people to feel comfortable visiting BridgeHaus, joining an event and working here. That means considering access and inclusion in the way we welcome guests, arrange our spaces, share information and design jobs.
As a social enterprise operated by Interchange Shoalhaven, we create employment and training opportunities for people with disability. Inclusion is part of our everyday work, and we know there is always more to learn and improve.
Planning your visit
Access needs are individual. If you would like information about our entrance, seating, toilets, parking or what to expect during your visit, please get in touch. We’ll provide clear information so you can decide what works for you.
You’re welcome to let us know about seating preferences, communication needs, dietary requirements or anything else that would help you enjoy your time here. You don’t need to share a diagnosis or personal history to ask for an adjustment.
Noise levels and the layout of the venue may vary, particularly during live music and events. If you would prefer a quieter visit or need to check arrangements for a particular event, please contact us beforehand.
Help us improve
If something at BridgeHaus makes it difficult for you to participate, we want to hear about it. Speak with our team or contact us through our website. We’ll listen, discuss what we can do and be clear about any limitations.
